snow much fun!

Hi and welcome to my new blog!

I’m sure you’ve heard the line, “I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.”  Well, I think that describes me and my new blog pretty well.  Ever have trouble starting…venturing out?  You know with me, it seems I have to finish before I start.  I have to think everything through, then rethink it, then tweak and tidy it, then shelve it for a while, then come back and tweak it some more.  Problem is, whatever “it” is, it’s never really finished.  Sometimes I’m done, but not finished.  I’m done because I’ve made myself crazy and I’m over that and onto the next, but I never really finished.

I’m pretty sure it comes from fear.  Fear of “it” not being quite right, not good enough.  Crazy though, because really, what is good enough and who is the official judge?  So, I decided just now that in spite of it not being finished yet, I’m starting my blog, right now.  I’ve been wanting to start for a long time.  Sometimes we have to do something, even when we’re scared.  Some friends had to remind me of that.  I’m glad they did.

So I guess I did it.  I started my blog.  Hooray for me!  Now that didn’t hurt at all. :)
