time flies…

I’m sure you’ve heard, many times, the saying, “Time flies when you’re having fun”.  That is so true.  We’ve been having a lot of fun enjoying this summer, which in NY is way too short of a season to miss.  With the kiddies home from school and the sun shining and beckoning us outside, well, something has to give, and that “thing” has been my blog.  I’m very behind in posting images and I promise to try to catch up a bit.

Of course the idea of time flying brings up another topic.  The holidays!  Yes, they are fast approaching and there’s no stopping them or slowing them down!

So, you know where I’m heading with this, right?  Yes, if you haven’t already booked your holiday session, you might want to do that soon, particularly if you’re wanting an outdoor session.

The last day for a holiday appointment is Saturday, November 14. No really, that’s the last day.  To ensure a timely delivery, this year’s deadline for holiday orders will be December 5.  I will only be scheduling maternity and newborn sessions for December until after New Year’s, so those of you expecting a baby during that time, please call or email me for information and availability.

To get you moving, here’s a little incentive to book early.

Schedule your holiday session to take place in September by midnight on August 15, and receive a complimentary pack of 25 – 5×7 flat holiday cards with your order!

Be sure to book your appointment prior to August 16 to take advantage of this special offer.

Schedule your session by emailing johanna@johannasophia.com or by calling 516.280.3471.  Dates are limited so please book early.

As a post would not be complete without an image or three…here are two sweet kids I photographed for a Father’s Day session.  They are adorable and were so much fun, and now their mama has lots of beautiful images to grace the walls of their lovely home!
