  • Welcome to my blog!

I'm Johanna, and I'm a photographer.  You have no idea how great that sounds every time I say it.  I love being a photographer!  Aside from my family and friends, nothing gives me greater joy than capturing life's everyday moments with my camera.  This is where I get to show you how much I love what I do. It is here where I hope you will see why I am so passionate about my work, my art.  You see I've got a superpower.  I can freeze time.  Pretty cool, huh?  I think so.

and to complete the trio…

Here’s the little and big brother; the one in the middle.  I guess you could say he’s the rich creme in the center of those delicious oreos.  Three great, beautiful kids in one terrific family.  Clear some serious wall space mama!

take one guess who his sister is…

It shouldn’t be difficult.  This is the oh-so-handsome brother of the adorable Little Miss Blue Eyes from my earlier post, the eyes have it.  Can you imagine this little guy looking up at you with those big baby blues and asking for a cookie before dinner, or the keys to your car?

eye caramba!

This little girl’s sister has beautiful blue eyes (she’s the one featured in my Communion mini session post).  Now, check out the stunning green eyes on this one.  Another wowie!  And, she’s got the personality to match.  It was a pleasure capturing this special time in her life.

still just a little girl

still just a little girl

There’s a lot of things I like about this image, but the one thing I love about it is the way her feet don’t touch the ground yet.  Often girls act older than their years, and sometimes we forget that they’re really still just little girls.

~SarahInParis~ - Johanna these images are FABULOUS and what amazing green eyes she has. Just divine. I love the shot in the church too. Beautiful work.March 30, 2009 – 11:36 am
